RENT OUR VENUE

JuicyLand is an off-grid land-based venue available for conscious gatherings, workshops, immersions and retreats. Surrounded by nature, water, and green valleys, the space supports connection, creativity, movement and deep presence.

JuicyLand is both a home and a venue - a living, breathing community space in Portugal, held by a core group of founders who care for and steward the land together. Gatherings here are supported by an active relationship with nature, community and presence.

The Group Spaces

JuicyLand offers two group rooms, which can be rented together or individually.

The spaces are suitable for workshops, movement, sound, meditation, sharing circles and group processes.

All rooms at JuicyLand are held within the same shared environment, supporting a sense of community and togetherness throughout your stay.

Included with the venue:

    • 2 microphones

    • Mixer

    • Mic stands

Additional notes:
Movement, sounding and noise are welcomed in the space.

Accommodation & Facilities

Accommodation at JuicyLand is simple rustic Portuguese rooms designed to support rest and integration during group experiences.

Capacity:

  • 22-30 in indoor accommodation

  • 10 camping in provided tents

  • More can be possible if they come with their own tents and bedding

  • Mattresses

  • Mattress covers

  • Pillows

  • Bathrooms

  • Showers

  • Compost toilets

Food & Nourishment

Food is offered as part of the venue and can be included in your booking. Meals are prepared to support group processes and retreat-style gatherings.

The Land & Nature Immersion

Nature is not a backdrop at JuicyLand - it is an active part of the experience. The land is shaped by rivers, springs and schist rock formations, and cared for through regenerative practices such as composting, mulching and attentive land stewardship.

The land itself is part of the experience. JuicyLand invites deep connection with nature through open landscapes, flowing water, and quiet corners for reflection.

AIRPORTS/FLIGHTS:

a) LISBON

(3 hours away from us)

Important for departures via Ryanair: Terminal 2 is your terminal! To reach it, you take free shuttle from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2.

b) PORTO

(2 hours away from us, cheap and direct for UK flights)

BUS:

Your destination is: Catraia do Mouronho

From there, you take TAXI: Catraia do Mouronho is another 30 minutes drive to JuicyLand. 

Important: There is no other bus option from Catraia do Mouronho to JuicyLand, just taxi.

TAXI FROM/TO Catraia do Mouronho:

Try with this one first, we used it more often.

b) Taxi sr. Zé Alberto in Coja or Benfeita (+351)964321098

When ordering taxi, you just need to send them an SMS in Portuguese (they don’t speak English): 

"Preciso de um táxi da Catraia do Mouronho para a Quinta da Mizarela: ENTER DATE&HOUR HERE

Pode confirmar? Preço: 25 euros, como tínhamos combinado anteriormente? Obrigado 🙏"

With both taxi drivers we have agreed fixed price: 25 EUR.

They have vehicles also for 6 or 9 people (price stays the same: 25 EUR).

RENT A CAR:

Rent a car is very cheap in Portugal (especially when not in high season), sometimes even 3-5 EUR per day (if you don’t take extra insurance).

  • BeRent (pickup at Lisbon airport, small but have new cars :)):

  • Tangerine is also ok company (they are in Lisbon, not on the airport)

Off-Grid Living

JuicyLand is fully off-grid. Power supply is limited, and mindful use is required.


Wifi is available, though occasional outages can happen.

Fire Policy

Absolutely no fire - indoors or outdoors - from May to November.

We can organise local trips upon request. The surrounding area offers rich natural and cultural experiences, including:

  • Local markets

  • A nearby restaurant serving wild meat and traditional Portuguese dishes (walking distance)

  • Beautiful nature spots and points of interest

A deposit is required to confirm your booking and is calculated based on the number of days booked.
